The Roots. Wounds. Words. 2023 Words of Resistance & Restoration Fellows in Fiction, Nonfiction, Speculative Fiction, and Poetry held a special virtual showcase on Saturday, December 2, 2023, 7-9PM EST. Janyce read a selection of her workshopped short story, The Silent Silence. The five Fiction Fellows were taught by Annell López, an award-winning writer whose debut I’ll Give You A Reason was published by Feminist Press.
